This was my first James Patterson novel! I actually guessed who the killer was about ~2/3 of the way through, but I'm still giving this 3.75 stars because I still found it incredibly hard to put the book down, which is exactly what I'm looking for with this kind of novel! :-)

I hybrid read this, which is not something I typically do, I typically pick one for audio and one physical read. I just couldn't put this one on pause.... The narration is a duet, which I always love. Highly recommend on audiobook! (Also, was a little easier to follow POV in the audiobook at first as well because the narrators change.). This was a longer book, but didn't feel too long at all, it kept my interest the entire time.

I have to admit, that I called the killer twist very early on, but then continued to psych myself out that I was wrong because there was so much left... The ending was a good wrap up, I wasn't necessarily shocked by it, but it was a good way to connect everything together.

Spoiler:
Spoiler I do really hope that Jenna and Noah get some serious therapy because both of them have been through some very fucked up shit, lol. Especially Jenna who just found out she's the bloodline of a very disturbed and fucked up family.

One of the James Patterson books I have read in recent years . It's not a fast read with short chapters like his usual books but flows nicely .The ending did catch me by surprise and overall a thoroughly interesting mystery read

It is very good, with some clever plot twists though the identity of the killer is too easy to guess. Would be better had the author clouded the true killer better.

It was a decent book although by the end it had become predictable all in all a good read though.

It's been a while since I've last read such an atrocious writing - all those starred reviews - people, really???!!! Characters were unpleasant and flatly written, dialogues - terrible, monologues - wayyyyyyy beyond terrible, the plot - more like someone's ravings, than a solid thing - and that's the author with a name and popularity. Well, something is seriously wrong with this world then.
