This was my first James Patterson. Absolutely won’t be my last. Suspense is definitely the genre I’ve been longing for and missing in my reading life. Patterson’s writing and storytelling are both incredible, and I can’t recommend this book highly enough for people who can handle the frustration of being mildly confused for 425 out of 430 pages ;)

Filled with intrigue as usual. I did not like Detective Jenna Murphy at all. She was the one character I thought was the dumbest. The plot twist was nice but I anticipated it.

Ever read a book where you hate the chapter you are reading then really enjoy the following chapter? Well, this was that kind of book for me. The only reason that I kept pushing myself to finish it was that it had to be passed to the next person. The book finally takes a turn and then I really enjoyed it until the end. So was it worth it? Probably not, except what I believed was going to be revealed at the end, I was wrong. I didn't see it coming.

I really like The Black Book and Invisible by James Patterson and David Ellis so I was expecting something good when I came across this book. This book did not disappoint. This book has murder, drama, and a great twist. This was another great James Patterson and David Ellis story. Must read.

My first James Patterson and 5magical stars. I loved everything. The suspense was spot on. But I might have got a hint about the twist at the end okay. But but I loved it.
