STOP BEING NAKED ALL THE TIME! 8 times in one volume, if I don't count every panel where somebody is naked/pantsed separately and just count individual times. This just isn't my sense of humor.

Splatoon is a really cool franchise with deep and interesting lore, and awesome lady characters who are pop stars by day and secret agents at night. The highlight of this read, for me, was catching sight of Callie and Marie for a frame at a time. Their presence reminded me how much cooler this could've been.

Great Comic about a team in the Era of Splatoon 1. Starts out very cute, and maintains that the point of the game is to have fun.

If you have played Splatoon/seen it, you'll know what is going on and can follow along. If you don't know about it or seen/played before, then it's a toss up.

You do get thrown into the mix right away, but I don't think it's that big of a deal cause there is plenty of other stories like that. Finishing the first volume, you know what is going on and go along with the story, even if you never seen/heard of the game before.

I think that this is a great juvenile series for anyone to read. It's fast paced, plenty of action, and there is morals that I think are pretty important. All the characters are unique to themselves and interact well within their team and outside of the turf. There is the turf wars, which is the action takes place, and the whole series revolves around them. The Blue Team teaches that having fun with your friends and trying your best, it doesn't matter if you win or lose. It's all about the fun. They also teach and show other teams this, and have a good influence on them to be better.

The only thing that I really didn't like about this, is that the 'nudity' is overplayed too much by the main character, Goggles. I get it. It's kid humor cause being naked is funny to them. But it's too much. He's always shows up naked, ends up naked in battle, and pants every male character he makes friends with. I feel like they gave Goggles too many personality traits that he gets kinda annoying/overused. He's always naked, hungry/eating, very aloof, supports and believes in his team and others. He's just an overwhelming character.
