This is a rather heavy book, with discussions around sexual assault, murder and harassment, but I think it’s incredibly important to read if you feel you can handle those topics. The author uses a mixture of her own experiences, interviews with other victims, academics and activists, and her own research into the world of online misogyny to create a concise discussion about sexism and what the world can do to tackle it.

As somebody who works with college aged men, this book was super informative to some casual comments and underlying sentiments I encounter. If you work with young and men in any capacity, I highly recommend this book.

It was an insightful book, fleshing out some already known terms and view points whilst exposing me to others. It definitely bred some interesting analysis within my own life and was an interesting book to talk about.
The only reason I didn’t give it a 4 star review was purely because there were some opinions and conclusions the author made that I found difficult to agree with or understand.
But for the most part, I really do think it was an important read and I’m glad I’ve read it.
