Akira is adorable and I love the zombie animals I hope we see more of that.

Very rushed and quite sad. The sexual content is so unnecessary. If it isn't rated mature, just imply what's going on instead of showing boobs.

Maybe 4.5, if that was an option.

It’s a fun zombie post apocalyptic story with an optimist at the centre. Akira and Kencho happen upon some beautiful flight attendants and a heroic misadventure in an aquarium happens. I liked that this volume contains just two two-parters. It gave some space for the characters to get some development albeit at the cost of ever so slightly holding up the fast momentum of volume 1 (which is still present in this volume in a modified manner) It’s the new misadventure minor delay for why I dinged this volume down. It’s very fun still.

Better than the first volume, but not by much... I like this series and I'll give it another volume, but something about it just doesn't work for me.

Thanks to Netgalley for providing a copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is just as great as volume one!

The situations get wackier, and so does the bucket list. Dating flight attendants, going to the aquarium, becoming a superhero — all during a zombie apocalypse. Despite the dire circumstances, our lead still finds a way to make the most of his new lease of life. I love how even in the funny and wacky moments, there are still bouts of sadness and lost time: wondering if your parents are okay, if life will go back to normal, will they survive. It does hit hard, but it’s still fun to read.

I adore this series and I can’t wait to read more of it.
