I received an eARC courtesy of VIZ Media via NetGalley & Edelweiss in exchange for my honest review.

The same sense of adventure, humor and the undead as book 1. This series is proving to be surprisingly charming. I'm going to keep rooting for Akira and Kencho.

For Libraries: I must reiterate again that this is definitely an adult title.

Some laugh out loud moments, continued dumb-assery and a zombie shark. Lovely.

A little better than the first volume. The characters are given a bit more depth and thought than before, but I still find them kind of annoying and shallow a lot of the time. Weird sexism persists but at least some female characters are given a little more screentime besides being romance or sex appeal.

Cool zombie in this one, character is a bit goofy still. Basically it's a guy trying to do his bucket list during a zombie apocalypse. I'll keep reading because I feel like it could get some heart to it.
