walaupun cukup predictable di awal, but still quite interesting plot and story. mungkin sy harus baca lirik2 aslinya dalam versi englishnya, kalo di terjemahan rasanya agak cheesy.

This book was good! It was exciting and fun and cute and really easy to read. I did find myself comparing this book to Listen To Your Heart, the only other Kasie West book I’ve read and really enjoyed. I liked how they were both different in their own ways.

One thing I really liked with this book was the dynamic between the main character, Lily, and her best friend Isabel. I liked how they both really trusted each other and how Lily actually told Isabel stuff, even if it had to do with her ex-boyfriend. I find in a lot of YA contemporary that the friends won’t tell each other stuff if it has to do with the ex-boyfriend or whatever. It was refreshing to see a friendship where both of the friends actually trusted each other. I don’t know, this is just something that I prefer in the books I read and it was nice to actually see this fulfilled in this book.

I also enjoyed how the idea for this book was really unique. I think it is a cute idea to have note writing between a boy and girl is really fun and original. I think Kasie West did a nice job of executing this idea. Each scene moved nicely from one to the next. I don’t even think I had a huge issue with the main relationship in this book too! West does a really nice job of crafting a good YA contemporary.

The one issue I had with this book was the stereotypical “crazy” family. Our main character Lily lives with 3 other siblings (1 older, 2 younger), a “hipster” mom, and an excitable dad. Oh, and a weird demon rabbit thing. I guess I’m just sick of seeing these so-called crazy families in literature. Eventually, Lily’s family grew on me a little bit but in the beginning they were a little overbearing.

This is a great book if you need something quick, mindless, and cute to read during the summer.

This book was exactly what I was looking for. I cute teen romance that I just couldn't put down!

I loved the letter writing in this book, the mysteriousness of it (which became predictable), but made the anticipation that much more intriguing. I wanted to know how it would turn out, how they would overcome their misunderstandings and I loved the fact that it began with their love for the same music. Throughout the book we are able to see the lives of the characters unfold and seeing how family circumstances influenced the characters and how it connected the two letter writers to each other and the empathising feelings they had for each other. This book was just so cute and I adored reading each page. Never once was it boring and it was the perfect romantic quick read I was looking for. I'll definitely be looking forward to reading West's other books, especially if they had the same effect and feels to this one. Highly recommended, it was overall an enjoyable read and not the type of book you will look too deeply into criticising as it left such a sweet feeling.

3.5 stars. I love Katie West. She gives good flirt and Cade is such a flirt! PS I Like You is a little predictable but utterly adorable.
