I really liked this book it took me pretty much only took me one day to finish it. I love the secret pen pal idea I ended so nice and even though I finished it I think I'll read it again see if I missed anything.
*4.5*
“Who are you talking to?"
"Myself."
"You do that a lot."
"I know. I’m the only one who understands me.”
2nd Read 2021 4.5 Stars: I was a little worried that my reread of this would taint my appreciation and love for it, but I'm so happy that wasn't the case. I felt just as much happiness and joy as the first time, and I got to see it through a new lense given that I already knew the ending. It was the perfect pick-me-up after a tough week.
1st Read 2016 4.5 Stars: I love the mystery aspect of this A LOT. It's probably one of the things that makes this one of my favorite Kasie West books. The chemistry between the characters was really good, and the romance was so sweet! I recommend it to all fans of the genre.

This is the first Kasie West book I've read. It's full of high school cliches, but I enjoyed it, anyway.

Really liked this audio book. It was a tad Dawson’s Creek and full of teenage angst but really light and easy to listen to.
My husband said if he had to listen to any more he was going to jump out of the moving car.

What a great, sweet, funny book! I truly LOVE when two characters slowly get to know each other and then fall for each other through writing.
I loved every letter Lily exchanged with her secret pen pal and then every moment in between. I loved Lily’s family too! Her little brothers were so cute. I loved how messy, chaotic and all over the place they were and how the loved and took care of each other.
I loved how quirky Lily was too.
It was a sweet light slightly fluffy but not mushy love story that I highly recommend!

P.S. I Like You is another cute Kasie West book! I figured I'd review two of the books I've read by her recently in one post, especially since I've read them so close together.
I'm actually a little surprised I didn't get the two books confused considering I started this one right after I finished the other one.
I figured out pretty early on who the mystery man was. I thought it was pretty obvious, so when it turned out to be true, I wasn't all that surprised. I did like seeing Lily's reaction to who it was, and how much she was hoping it would be someone else. Considering the history between Lily and her mysterious pen pal, I can't say it was a big surprise. I am surprised, however, that it didn't cause more problems with her and her best friend, but her best friend does seem pretty cool. She was pretty understanding and relaxed about it, all things considering.
They really did have a lot more in common than she thought, and who knew that some letters would really change things? For him, as well as Lily.
And the story is predictable- I've read enough of her books that she does go for the quirky, charming but very adorable, cliche romance. Maybe, if I hadn't read so many other similar stories, I would have loved it, or even really liked it. Don't get me read, I did like P.S. I Like You. It's cute and light-hearted, and maybe I read it too close to Love, Life And The List to love it more.
I doubt it, but it was fun and cute to read.
My Rating: 3 stars. The obvious love interest (and similarities to West's other books) aside, it's a cute romance.

I honestly went into this not expecting much, especially as I am not a fan of teenage drama. But it is so well written that it blew my expectations out of the water. Actually a touching and amusing read.
Such a lovely story! this book is perfect if you want to just read something fast and nice.
