There was A LOT to unpack in this book - it was a lot - too much for me.

Love the author. Love the throw back to a court drama unfolding as the story unfolds. I’ve missed this aspect of Jodi Picoult’s storytelling in her past few novels.

Overall this was a good book, I liked that this book about a trans woman has become so main stream but I am bummed it's about her murder. I not sure how much I like reading a flashback within a flash back, that's a bit weird but I really did enjoy Lily's chapers the best, I felt for her much more strongly than Olivia.

I have already recommended this book to others.

I read this book without knowing anything about the content based on a TikTok review. I regret that I did not read the content warnings before hand.
