What a great book. The characters gain power, investigate, do some expert planning, and (obviously) keep on having insane Dragonball Z level fights. At this point in the series, they're getting close to Majin Buu level. A great penultimate novel in a great series. Can't wait to read the final installment of Wei Shi Lindon's journey out of Sacred Valley.
Wow! Dieses Buch ist eine weitere gelungene Fortsetzung. Man merkt wirklich, dass sich jetzt alles zum großen Finale zuspitzt und auch wenn ich mir Sorgen mache, wie alles zusammengeführt werden kann (die ganze Abidan Handlung wirkt etwas außen vor) hat es ein paar geniale Momente. Vor allem das Ende zeigt unsere Figuren in einer völlig neuen Position, die so viel Spaß zu lesen macht. Und ein paar der besten Kämpfe.

The midsection of this book was a slog. It was one of the hardest Cradle books to get through. That's not to say it is the worst; there are a couple that I consider to be worse than Dreadgod. The momentum of the last four books put a lot of pressure on this one to continue forward, just as good. I do not think it delivered.
I still enjoyed this book, it just took me far longer to read than the previous ones. I think there were a lot of pacing problems and B-lines that were necessary for the story but not as enjoyable (namely). I will still eagerly await Waybound :) Great work Will!
