yet another dystopian thriller/love story. i inevitably found myself comparing it to the hunger games in certain scenarios. in my opinion, the hunger games totally trumps divergent.

that being said, it was a really exciting adventure. the whole mind control thing was a freaky twist I didn't see coming. i can't wait to read insurgent!

I thought that this book was very entertaining. I have seen the movie, and in case you were worried that the movie would be nothing like the book, then you were wrong. The movie and the book are very similar. Also, I didn't like the ending very much, but I guess that that is the whole purpose of the book, because they are all learning fighting tactics.
