It felt like a very standard "romantasy" plot with predictable twists. But, I had fun with it! It encompasses the formula including: a morally grey MMC and a strong FMC with special powers.

This was more fun than I thought it would be.
The tropes troped and the banter was good.
Not really enemies to lovers but more… he fell first and then enemies and then… who knows.
The ending was a fun turn… was it predictable, yes but it was still giving me all the fun excitement I look forward to reading.
Excited to start the next one!

Don't walk - RUN to this series. This book had my attention from the beginning. The characters, the world building, and the plot were all *chefs kiss*

definitely saw lorien being fae from a mile away
but I always love a FMC who isn't a bad ass right off the back and prisca has all the qualities of a future bad ass
