The book provides more background on Kim's character than the movie but otherwise still quite impressed by how well the movie adapted this book. But I am starting to wonder if the zany nature of the novel would have deterred me from reading it had I not seen the movie to compare it to.

i think this book is lovely and thoroughly hip! i love the use of magical realism to create an atmosphere that’s both believable and incredibly fun slash interesting: stuff happens and nobody questions it. so smart
why can’t i be dating someone in an indie rock band in the early 2000’s and rent videos from the local video store life is so unfair
thoughts on characters: i think that scott is an unreliable narrator so i wonder how much of the flashbacks are actually true, it’s so funny how delusion prone knives is, and kim is my favourite character right now

Not as good as the first one, but good. Am trying to decide whether Scott is more unlikeable than in the movie
Продовження історії походеньок Скота, перед яким постає складний вибір між Найвз та Рамоною. А ще тут другий та третій колишній з Ліги Злих Колишніх Рамони. Як же ловко Скот переміг другого - Лі. На мою думку в цій частині забагато нових чи то забутих старих героїв, та подорожей між сном і явністю, через це трошки втрачаєш суть. А так то хороший епізод.
