Scott Pilgrim is trying to manage his love life. Now that he's met Romona Flowers, perhaps his current girlfriend Knives Chau isn't quite the one. Meanwhile, he's still in the middle of fighting all of Romona's evil-exes.

While Scott Pilgrim is pretty much a blubbering idiot who tends to make a mess of things, he still very much a hodge-podge of most people at that age. Silly folks who make a mess of things. Most of the agency here is driven by all of the side characters, and the plot only progresses along thanks to their usefulness. The pacing of volume 2 is a bit confusing at times, especially when it's cutting between present time and flashbacks. I had to double check to make sure I was reading the right thing.

A decent read that moves the plot along.
