Funnier than the first book, but I felt the lack of any actual fight between Scott and the ex here did hold it back a little bit. It also seemed to focus on his flaws more, by showing the consequences of his actions - particularly in how he handles breakups so casually with no regard to the other person in the relationship.

I don't like the frequent use of the R-word.
And I don't like how Knives is portrayed as the jealous ex-girlfriend type.
Other than that, pretty fun.

Scott and Ramona's relationship is progressing, and Envy, Scott's ex, is in town with The Clash at Demonhead.

This book goes into the time Scott was dating Kim, and Knives gets into it with Ramona. I enjoyed all the additional scenes that never made it in the film, and the little nods to the characters, knowing they're in a graphic novel.

And excellent follow-up volume to the first.

I definitely did not understand how quickly I would blast through these graphic novels, but I'm glad I am reading them. I adore how true the movie still was despite the reversal of several key aspects of the story told herein.

Scott: This band sucks.
Random Girl: That's what they'll be saying about you on Sunday.
Scott: At least I...wait...something...you..insult...
