There was some lovely prose in the beginning that hooked me and I was really looking forward to the WLW main relationship. The overall cyberpunk mech concept is sick as hell, particularly the idea of humans creating their own deities. But the execution feels so clunky and I can’t get past the dialogue/narration style. 10 year old me would’ve loved this, but I’m unfortunately not sinking my teeth in.
I couldn’t figure out what was going on. I wanted to like the character, but listening to the audiobook didn’t make any sense. I might try again with a physical copy.

Disaster lesbians with mecha. Everybody is very angry all the time. Would've loved a more fleshed out universe around the lively, destructive characters who all somehow consist of 90% rage.
