So I opted to listen to this on audio and I have to say that I am relieved that I did! I would probably have DNF'd this had I read it physically! This book is described as a "rom-com thriller" but if I am being honest, I did not find either within this book! 😕 This is basically a revenge thriller but I personally found too many flaws within this book to rate it higher than I did! I did enjoy the woman empowerment, however they were all connected within one conversation (as strangers!!) And the ending was good, but literally, the whole point of the book was wrapped up within the last 10%!
Sadly, I would not recommend this! 😓

I was really struggling at first with this story, it took me some time to warm to Sally. However from the 20 % ish mark, the story fully kicked in and I changed from reading to listening to it on audio, which definitely made a difference.
I liked the whole female revenge aspect and the ladies in the group worked well together bringing those men that done them wrong.
A fun read but it did start off slow.

I absolutely loved living vicariously in New York, a dream of mine. Sally is a stand out protagonist. She gathers a group of wronged and together they reclaim their power in the most fabulously unhinged way. It’s got found family, sisterhood, revenge, and righteous rage. Lucy cleverly peels back the layers of each woman’s story, and I felt like I was part of their gang—rooting for them and gasping out loud at the twists!
Lucy blends humour and grit so deftly, never shying away from tough topics but handling them with wit and warmth.
If you're in the mood for a smart, sassy rom com with a serious side order of revenge murder, When Sally Killed Harry needs to be on your shelves. I suggest pouring yourself a Cosmo or Margarita and enjoy the ride.
