I liked reading this book because it provided me with a framework of introversion which I could apply to my own life. There were definitely some things that were biased or too anecdotal to be a convincing argument for the (smaller) point Mrs. Cain was trying to make. Then again, I kept on reading partly because of this structure and I did agree with the main point she was trying to make and the outline she provided for it.

Fascinating, and also validating in some ways.  Enjoyed the audiobook, might listen again as I’m sure I missed some stuff.  Still can’t fully keep my focus with audiobooks…

Parts of this book were fascinating in the best way possible, but other parts just read like “introvert supremacy RAHHHHHH”

I loved this book. It opened up my understanding about myself and other introverts out there. A must-read for educators, and parents who believe their child should be more "out going."

A mix of self help, digest of recent research and cultural analysis. More interesting than I expected (reading this as homework for a prof development course). Many things were very recognizable, and reading this was probably a good reminder of the legitimacy of wanting to recharge and of managing social energy—it’s east to start feeling selfish. Also a bit disheartening to read about how hardwired these personality traits are, in the face of wanting to develop more skills. But maybe it should rather make me feel more appreciative of any progress made.
