Reading every word of this book excites me, I don't know why it never occurred to me before, maybe I feared that I would get to know something that I was constantly denying, it was the fear of confrontation that made me keep this book at the bay. I've never resonated so much with any book before, there were many instances where I shouted in my mind that this is so me!!. At some moments it was so overwhelming that I had to shut the book, take a walk to settle down the thoughts about what I just read. I've been struggling with myself for a long time, even to this day I brood over the fact that why I can't just blend in any social situation, just have a nice warm conversation with people. our just enjoy myself when I'm surrounded by people, this book addresses lot's of the issues and it's great to know that the issues which I always thought of as flaws in me actually have cover a psychopathic type. A good read indeed if you are a introvert or are closely associated with one :)

It was very slow and drawn out imo and told in a personal story format I was looking for something that was less personal and more philosophical and more outside story telling based I think?
I listened to the audio, which was well-done. However, I wish I had read the book, so I could mark and reread passages. I would have appreciated marking a statement to cross-reference it with other research.
I'm guessing introverts will like this book more than extroverts.
This book is great for school districts, businesses, and parents of introverted children.
I wish school administrators would read this book. Several times, I sat in staff development trainings and listened to the latest-greatest trend of teaching strategies and thought about the children who would not benefit from group work, background music, and an overly-stimulated environment.
Even though I love collaborative learning and used it successfully in class, I appreciate this book's appeal to offer more balanced techniques.

Can't comment on the research, but its "it's ok to be how you are" message is very strong.
Very interesting concept. I will probably pick this up again later, but for now I didn’t finish because I’m in the mood for fun fiction right now.

Agree with Kelly's review re: this book, so I won't reproduce here.
