The second book in the Children of the Lamp series continues the adventures of John & Philippa Gaunt, two 12-year-old twins who happen to be djinn. The Solomon Grimoire is reported missing and only John & Philippa can get it back. Unfortunately it's a trap and when Philppa is kidnapped only John can rescue his sister before it's too late. This book is better than the first one. I hope the series continues to be this good.

Like the first book in the series, charming and smart YA fantasy. Good sick day reading.

I did not continue with the series past this book. I wasn't a big fan of the first, although there was a slight improvement on this installment.
