As usual, Kara Thomas got me at the end with her story. This one moves fast and throws a lot of information at you at once so pay attention.
I was wanting a bit more from the middle of the book - I felt a little bit like Samantha was pulling us along and was a bit more invested in the mystery than in her journey, but in the end I was turning pages madly.

It felt inconsistent and unfinished. It took a while to get moving and never got anywhere.

I am a long time Kara Thomas fan and have enjoyed her YA crime/thrillers and how they've developed and grown into her first official adult novel! Although her last one was deffo in the new adult arena. This had quite a slow build up but it was well-written and the pay off was worth it. I continue to be a KT Stan and await whatever she brings out next!!!!! (3.5)

This was a great read that kept me guessing the whole time. I can honestly say I had NO clue who did it until we found out who did it! Although the story was elaborate with a lot of twists and turns, it was written in a way that was easy to follow.

Too many characters and plot lines. It was confusing!
