I’m much more grateful after reading this book. I can’t help but think about the little prince every time I chug down a cool crispy glass of water. Helps me slow down and remember what a gift it is to be alive and to drink water and to breathe and to eat and to love.
A simple book with ageless lessons and an ambiguous ending.
The most meaningful book of my life, this was given to me when I was 3. By that age, my mother read it to me. When I was 5, I read it by myself. When I was 13, I read it again. When I was 17, once more. And on my 21st birthday, I read it again. Only then I understood the meaning of the Rose. This book changed my life and probably will continue changing it. Nevermind the childish look to it: this is, to me and many, one of the best stories ever written.

undeniably, this was incredibly charming and beautiful, and it's hard to believe that i never came across it until my twenties. it's a true gem that has something to offer both children and adults. i was struck by how much of the content seemed geared toward grown-ups rather than the young audience it was intended for, inviting readers of all ages to appreciate the beauty and wonder in the world. the author skillfully weaves philosophical and moral themes into the narrative, written in a simple and accessible style and accompanied by lovely illustrations. although i may have discovered this book later in life, it has quickly become one of my all-time favorites, and i can't wait to share it with my future children. not only will they delight in the captivating story, but i'm sure i'll gain new insights and appreciation from reading it aloud to them.
