Langsam hole ich Klassiker nach die ich als Kind nicht gelesen habe. Ok, ich habe als Kind nie weiter gelesen als den Anfang mit dem Elefanten oder Hut in der Riesenschlange, danach hörte die Motivation irgendwie auf... Und jetzt weiß ich auch warum. Die Geschichte ist märchenhaft, schön erzählt und voller Weisheiten, nur für Kinder ist sie eigentlich nicht. Zumindest brauchen Kinder die Weisheiten nicht. Für mich als erwachsene Leserin war das schön und kurzweilig aber doch nicht so herzergreifend wie ich dachte. Ich bin aber auch immer etwas voreingenommen was so bedeutungsschwangere Texte oder Passagen angeht, die meiste Magie haben sie leider (!) verloren durch ihre Massenvermarktung als Kalender oder Grußkarten. Trotz allem eine sehr schön geschriebene Parabel und der kleine Prinz ist als Figur auch einfach niedlich.
