I was so excited to read this because of the premise (I mean, how can you go wrong with vampires?), but I was sorely disappointed by the execution.

the vampire settings in modern world is so fascinating to me. I love the characters as well, Frederick is such a cutie pie. I also love the mixed-media part of the book, where we get to see the letters Frederick wrote and the text messages, etc. I just wish that the part where they had to rescue Frederick was not rushed. The first half was a 5 star but sadly the rescue part brought the ratings down by abit.

Fun and lighthearted story. Saved this for spooky season to red in between dark books and this added just the right amount of humor and silliness that I needed.
