Just happy to be done with it. Rarely do I not finish a book so I slowly read through this. At times I liked the book because Proulx would start to develop a character but that would just as quickly stop and she would start another. This continued throughout the book.
The subject matter was interesting but in way too much detail. Book should have been half as long with half as many characters and would be so much easier a read.
