If someone were to ask me how I would describe this book, I would only need two words. Depressingly beautiful. The songs I kept thinking about as I read this were "Majorie" by Taylor Swift and "Waiting Room" by Phoebe Bridgers. I think they really captivate the story. I will say, I was not expecting the plot twist. On another note, usually, I am very picky and the thing that makes me the happiest in a book is romance. This book was just so much more than that. I loved every second of reading it. I cried, I laughed (very little but it still happened) and I understood what grieving looks like. I have never really experienced the death of a loved one, not for a long time. I was too young, but I know this is something I will eventually relate too. Marin's strength is astounding and I am so proud of her for teaching me about grief, and love. As Vision once said, "What is grief, if not love persevering?"
