When I started reading this, I wasn't sure I would be able to finish it. The abuse that Micah endured was horrible. The writing drew me in, however, and I wanted to see how his journey would end. I loved the blossoming relationship between him and Eli. Eli was willing to do whatever it took to make sure Micah was safe and I admired the sacrifices he made to ensure that. Micah's confusion and uncertainty throughout the story was handled well, making this very believable to me. This was an emotional read that I think others may enjoy, if they can get past the initial subject matter.
It's was a sweet romance with 2 endearing characters. not for those who want long, epic sories or lots of action. perfect for those who just want a sweet romance.
