Its was nice but a little too cheesy for me, like seriously but I enjoyed it, I think I will read the next ones in the series just to find out what happens to everyone else

poor girl though, her life is really hard so I applaud that and Jax is cute, no doubt

Abbi Glines is definitely one of the best YA authors around. She nails it every time.
I enjoyed this book a lot. The characters were well conceived and you could feel the struggles they were going through.
Where I feel it fell a bit short was in the insta-love, there was no real reason for it. I felt like there were parts missing that would have shown why they were in love. I also felt the ending was rushed and kind of just ended suddenly. Maybe that was just me wanting more of their story!

I'm sick of these small time girls capturing the hearts of rock stars... wheres the creativity anymore... The only good thing about this book is Marcus. I will be continuing this series just because of him,

I forgot how much I enjoyed the Sea Breeze series. While these books are listed as YA, I would not be comfortable with my teen daughter reading them.

The series starts off with Sadie and Jax. Sadie's mother is very pregnant and really not the best role model. At 17 Sadie is taking care of herself and her pregnant mother. Sadie has to fill in for her mother at her cleaning job. Sadie is hired on at The Stone's place as a maid.

Jax Stone is the hottest teen rock sensation. Isn't looking for commitment, but when he eyes Sadie he must have her. Sadie isn't looking for a summer fling.

While this book is full of cliche's and it's not a work of literary genius, it is entertaining. They are just the perfect book for spring or summer beach reads. A little racy, a little silly, and a whole lot of swoon worthiness.

It's mostly fluff with little character or plot development, a choppy storyline, and terrible dialogue, not to mention several typos that drove me crazy. However, despite all that, I couldn't put it down! A nice, quick, mindless read that was pure enjoyment! ...I'll have to remember how steamy it got at points though when recommending it to teens.

2.5 -Clichés -estrellas.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Not my cup of tea

It was OK--the kind of thing that might've made me swoon as a teenager (as it is older YA). I listened to the audiobook on Hoopla while gardening, otherwise I would've never picked it up. Characters a bit one-dimensional. Saying someone is unique over and over does not make them so. Jax's parts were weird in that they might've been all of three sentences before things jumped back to Sadie's point of view. And the actor narrating Jax's part was slooow. Totally didn't pair well with the female voice actor at all. Sadie's mom was absolutely lazy, like I don't know how that woman was still alive because she wouldn't even lift a finger for herself, much less anyone else. (And she was pregnant, too.) How she was able to even get in the car much less leave Tennessee and drive to Alabama I had no idea.
