It was so hard for me to ever put this down. I was captivated by these characters from page 1.
The grammar was awful and I found it made the book itself barely readable. Nobody speaks like the characters do in the books, there are these things called contractions, let's try using them next time.
As for the plot, I found it hard to feel anything other than frustration at the characters. It moved way too fast, there was no chemistry and overall it was a terrible reading experience.

I avoided this series for a little while and I'm not sure why since I LOVE Abbi's books. At first I think it had no pull to me..which now, looking back seems strange.
I really enjoyed this one. A few similarities between this and Fallen Too Far.
My only complaint is that they fell in love kinda quick. i wish it was dragged out more. Other than that, though, I highly enjoyed it!

A cute, quick and sexy read. I loved the characters and their stories and definitely cannot wait to read the rest of the series. Abbi Glines knows how to write some memorable characters!

I really don't have much to say. It wasn't that I hated it or anything, I love Abbi Glines and loved her Rosemary Beach series, but I really couldn't get into this one. It was just so predictable. Nothing exciting or new when it comes to Romance novels.
I'll continue only because I love this author. Plus, it's only the first book so hopefully it will pick up from here.

Beautiful, moving read!!! I liked the book immensely! The romantic relationships between Sadie and Jax are pure and touching, Sadie's devotion to her family is adorable, and the frienship between Marcus and Sadie is exemplary! I liked author's idea about music and singing helping with coma! Great book, emotional and heart-breaking, a must-read!!!

I been seeing this book around for a while now, and it is just taunting me so I figured I would give it a chance. (Plus there is a shirtless guy on the cover, how long was I going to resist that?) It was one of those books that I liked but I didn't like all at the same time. But I also found it to be a bit fake and cliche. I know books are something we read to escape reality but I also want to read something more realistic in a contemporary novel though. Falling in love with a rock star isn't something that happens often. (In my opinion)
This book felt like a huge case of instalove. They knew Sadie and Jax knew each other for like two days before they started with the obsessive behavior and all. (Maybe. I don't know how it is like because I have never been in love?) But I didn't feel realistic to me at all. Their relationship moved way to fast. But at the same time I really liked the fast romance.
I wasn't exactly sure what genre this book was suppose to be. Was it New Adult or upper Young Adult. Sadie is only seventeen, but there was sexual content as you would find it in a New Adult novel. Gah. Frustrating enough right there.
I didn't hate this book. I thought it was cute. But there were things that bothered me. It was something fast to read, being that I read it in a few hours. But being a teenage girl and being obsessed with Adam Levine (Though I am very well aware he is too old for me) part of me wishes that this book was a reality. Enough with my word vomit. I did like this book after all. I just didn't love it.

Actually I am not very fond of Abbi's writing style, but somehow she managed that I fell in love with Jax and Sadie and that I'll miss them and the others like hell in the next few days! Breathe is the kind of story great romance chick-flick movies are made of.
Starting the book I did not expect to like it as much as I actually do.
Ok, I confess: Can I have another happy after with Jax and Sadie? One after this one? Or at least the story been told more from Jax view? <3
