Half the Battle

I found the story entertaining enough to pick up the second book, but DNF’d because I honestly didn’t really like any of the characters

Love the second installment of bliss's story

Half the Battle is the second book in the Saint View Psychos. I did like the romantic aspect of it.

The story continues right where we left off in the first book. What I didn't find appealing was the messiness of the plot. While following the plot line is not hard, this one just felt a bit all over the place and there were moments where I wasn't sure what the point of some scenes was.

I did like the character development. Also, we get Caleb's POV which was absolutely amazing to read. While I do hate the guy, I did like getting into his head for a bit.

Overall I liked this book and I am already reading the third one.

A fun easy read

This whole series is just very spicy and very hot and I am here for all of it! 👏🏼 I keep thinking I have a favorite in the guys and then I question it again by the next chapter! I will say that while I enjoy War and Scythe’s POV, I wanted to hear from Nash as well, so I hope we get more of him again in Book 3! Also, that ENDING UGH!!!!! The plot is just so freaking good!!!

This was definitely better than book 1, I’m interested to see how it ends. Still could have given much more than it did.

didn't like storyline, boring
dark emotional funny fast-paced

Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: N/A
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

The spice alone gave this a 3 star. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make it more than a just OK book. I won’t be finishing the series. Love the boys and the main female character, but the plot just seems too much like an afterthought for me to care what happens next.
