I couldn't stop obsessing over Saint View Strip and, like the oh-so-rational person I am, I was completely incapable of waiting two months for Augie's story so...alas, I dove into the Saint View Psychos. Because why not? The only problem with this impulse-driven series read is that I'm STUPID picky about my reverse harem novels because so few authors can actually execute the story well. Well, I should have trusted that Elle Thorpe could do exactly that because I am completely feral over this series. Bliss, a woman from the wrong side of the street whose brother got her out before she could starve, gets pulled back into the Saint View-life when her brother is executed while on the phone with her and leaves her his bar, Psychos; the three book arc tracks Bliss' experience taking back her life, making Psychos successful, solving her brother's assassination, and falling in love and building a family with War (my precious Warrick Maynard 😍), Scythe (my morally BLACK baby, seriously, your Honor, I love him and his forked-up ways)/Vincent, and Nash (perfect flannel-wearing protector husband). Unlike in other RH books, SVP works because the series is very much smutty suspense where the suspense has nothing to do with the romance AND Bliss is not the only common factor between these men; they love each other as much as they do her. More RH novels should invest in these elements, but sadly, authors tend to skimp on storyline and emotion building between all characters in the relationship and the story suffers for it. Not here though--Psychos is fantastic in every way.

Intense

Get a condom for your heart; Elle's about to screw your feelings.

And you won't even be sorry about it. In fact, if you are anything like me, you will let out an evil cackle at the end of the book and then ask for more.

After the cliffhanger we were left with in book one, we are taken for a wild ride in book two. Secrets come to light—ones you could never predict—new connections are formed between our main characters, there are twists you never saw coming, and OH SO MUCH STEAM.

This book is a perfect example of why I love Mrs Thorpe's work.
I have absolutely no idea about what direction the next book will head in, and how some of the issues we have encountered will be fixed—heck, I don't even know how the characters all mesh together yet—but I am here for it all.
The mystery, the killer, the side stories, the steam.
The suspense is killing me. BRING ON BOOK THREE!

O.M.G!

I can’t say enough good things about this series! It has everything you want in a good spicy book!

We get to see Scythe in action in this one and he’s such a great character (although I do miss Vincent as well).

I thought I had an idea how the book was going to end but I totally had it wrong! I’m simultaneously dying for the next book while also being sad that it’s the last one.
