Did I think it was possible to love these characters and their story anymore? Nope. Do I? YES! Especially, Scythe….don’t know what that says about me, but he his hilarious, twisted, and dirty…what’s not to love?

There are more twists, more turns, plenty more spice in this book. I love seeing the deeper connections form between Bliss, Nash, War, Vincent, and Scythe. They all come from different lives, yet they all balance each other out and bring something to their little group. Not to mention how they all feel towards Bliss.

I love Bliss, I love seeing how continue to grow and become a BA. However, she still has her struggles given events that have occurred in her life recently.

I am DYING to see how their story concludes and for answers to all the mysteries that are still out there with this group.

If you’re looking for a dark, romantic suspense, RH check this one out….after reading book 1!

Oh boy! You’re in for a wild ride in Half The Battle. A roller coaster full of emotions! We get to see Bliss being stronger, more confident and overall a badass. Her relationship with War grows and blooms into something beautiful, she finally gets her moment with Nash. Scythe makes his appearance and settles in for good and honestly he makes the story better. I love he isn’t afraid to speak his mind even if it’s blunt and brutal. Scythe and War together makes me excited because they are both alphas who want control but will give it up for each other. There scenes together are HOT, like cool me down with a shower hot. I love everyone’s relationship with Bliss and watching them blossom.

This series started out strong, but I’ve noticed a pattern. In both Mae & Bliss’ stories, the author takes two of the three males (very clearly hetero alpha males) & makes them a couple. In Mae’s story, it’s Heath & Rowe. In Bliss’, it is Scythe & War. I love MM, but these pairings are so random, and have absolutely no chemistry. Its awkward, and really takes away from the storyline.

That’s the only negative comment I would make about this book. Other than that, the banter is hilarious, especially between Scythe and Bliss. This book is a lot of build up to what is going to happen in the third book, which isn’t out yet. It ends on a HUGE cliffhanger!

Waited so impatiently to get this book and then started reading as soon as it was released. It. Did. Not. Disappoint. Ugh Elle Thorpe, do I have to seriously wait a month for the next one
