3 stars. Reading these again makes me so nostalgic, but MAN there are a lot of things that are absolutely ridiculous about these books haha.

Not as good as the other Nancy Drew books, but I still really really enjoyed it. My copy was 122 pages long and the story was going real slow. It was high intensity from the start, but it took a goof while to get to all of the action.

Is it just me, or is wiring "SUSPECT TROUBLE" and immediately sending out a representative to investigate a slight overreaction to receiving news of an unregistered carrier pigeon? I'm not a carrier pigeon expert, so I could be wrong, but this did make me laugh at how absolutely seriously everyone took this poor bird.

It was a fun mystery, though, full of adventure and excitement. Effie's portrayal reeks of classism, but she's a delightful character nonetheless. A little silly, but interesting and enjoyable, and imo that's the best of the classic Nancy Drews.

The previous Nancy Drew, wasn't up my alley. I thought maybe I had grown out of them, or maybe I just didn't like the author. But this one made up for it!
It was a really quick read, lots of fun, and just like any other Nancy Drew - ridiculous! I really enjoyed this one, and I totally recommend this one in the series! :)

When there is more than one mystery, and one mystery has more than one story, my mind starts to get haywire. Oh my! How I'm going to read a more complicated book, I can't even understand children stories? I have a lot of questions come into my mind. Did I miss the information somewhere that Nancy met Morgan before? How does she know how Morgan looked like when he returned home? How can she differentiate the pigeon which was injured earlier with other pigeons?

I felt disappointed because of Nancy back to being pushy again. And Nancy seems to show more authorities on everyone around her. I felt sorry for Effie for Nancy's inconsiderate behaviour. I wondered whether I will snap on Nancy if I were Effie. Also, I was surprised when Nancy asked the old couple whether they wanted to open the parcel delivered to Morgan. "Under the circumstances". What? Under whatever circumstances, nobody should open anyone's parcel. Can't believe this comes from a lawyer's daughter.
