Oh I loved this one!
The best one so far without a doubt, didn’t want to put it down!

I did feel like the romance was a bit to quick for me in the beginning, but in this book it was perfect! They're so good together 🥰 and Sol and Tor, love them 😍
Really liked the side characters, but I would have been nice to have a little more interaction with Tor and Halvar.
Siv was sadly forgotten in this one I think, she didn’t get enough "screen time".

But with books this short, you can’t have everything 😅

I’m so curious about the next book and to learn more about that character!

But it's really nice to have a little breather, the first part of the series is done. It would feel to overwelming if the series continued non stop over all 9 books. Now I feel satisfied for the moment, will read something else, and then return and read the next 3 books of this series.

The story itself was okay and kept me reading. It just seems to be the same result over and over. Black tomb war black tomb war black tomb war. Taking a break to read something else before the next book since Elise and Valens story is over. Maybe with a fresh read things will be interesting again

That ended exactly how I expected it to, but boy did it take a different journey than I thought it would to get there. I still wish Valen came across a little more Legion than he does, but I still enjoyed the way things (at least for a few characters) wrap up. What is most interesting to me is the running thread that pushes how choice and fate are both integral to how things have and will continue to play out. Are fate and choice mutually exclusive? How can they coincide? I will definitely be continuing the Broken Kingdoms, but also taking a break before coming back to it.

This was definitely my favorite book in the series so far.
The story moved along pretty well, and for the most part I felt like it ended well for this couple.
There definitely moments I absolutely loved, and moments I wasn't extremely fond of either.
The character growth and story line came together so nicely.
I am also excited to start the next book, since it was teased in the last bit of the book!

This was an interesting journey to say the least.
was shocked that everyone was alive. And I love that they abdicated to like Elise and valan rule. I believe the next book will be case and their nephew so I am excited to learn more about them and the east.

I absolutely loved the ending to this first set of books for some reason ?!
