Starts with rapes, action centers on rape, ends with rescue and redemption of a violent rapist. Supposed to be light=hearted and fun, but left a really bad and uncomfortable taste behind.

Meandering with minimal true plot until the last 60 pages or so. Unique idea; story line could've been done much better and more succinctly.

Enjoyed it because I enjoy the gods as characters, and want particularly attached to story or OCs

I enjoyed this book and anyone who enjoys Greek mythology will too. It was refreshing to see the gods and goddesses of Ancient Greece modernized, but not in a cliched way. The plot line was fairly basic but I don't think it needed to be anything fancy. After all, the tales of the Greeks gods were all about jealousy, challenges and heroes. I personally liked that Artemis was the goddess in the forefront. It would have been fun to delve into more of the other gods but that would have been a big book and I think it would have taken away from the plot.

A enjoyable fast read, about what happens when the gods are alive...but not really gods anymore. And what happens when they realize that may change, with the help of a quiet little house cleaner, a love spell gone wrong, and a very determined not-quite boyfriend.

Put this one done during chapter two which describes the "illicit bathroom shag" between Apollo & Aphrodite - including "thrust, thrust, thrust..." Just a bit too much for me!
