It was an okay mystery book. SPOILER ALERT.................
I did not, however, like the "long lost brother as culprit" finale. Lame.

3.5 stars.
I must admit I had a hard time with the name "Shame". I couldn't buy the idea of anyone being addressed by this moniker, and I can't picture myself saying it without wanting to laugh. "Hey, Shame, how's is going?" Or "Shame, you want fries with that?" I found it distracting, and it disrupted the flow for me. Otherwise, it was a good read.

I thought it was very well written, if slightly predictable.

The story was only okay for me. I think it was smart and well-written and I liked the concept. but I figured out who the killer was pretty quickly. And I was very disappointed with the end.

This was an okay thriller. Nothing special and the ending was a bit rushed but it had an interesting premise.

This mystery moved right along. A serial killer's son is set up for several copycat murders. The author who chronicled the serial killer is there to offer assistance..as are a cast of characters. The author has painted a set of circumstances that are completely believable, while still being terrifying.
