This is my second Jacqueline Wilson book, and I ever so much loved it. Cookie is a delightful book to read, tackling many important issues nowadays. I appreciate that the book is lovely and sweet but bitterly realistic at the same time. It's an easy read, and I recommend to readers of all age.

this was another book i also read when i was younger and it came to my head again one day with the sudden urge to reread it and i don't regret it. i also loved this one just as much as i did when i was a child. i loved the courage and the mother x daughter relationship which was presented in the book , and how they always stuck together. it was overall just a super adorable and comforting book about forever family and moving to make the perfect life for yourself and it brings me great peace. children's book or not.
