I absolutely loved this book. Such a sweet and inspirational love story.

A good book that reminds me of a hallmark movie. A woman who has her engagement broken off goes with a friend on a trip to South America. She falls in love with a man who runs an orphanage.

I genuinely just loved every part of this book. The plot was familiar and yet unique and the fact that there wasn't drama and the villain wasn't human and rather was circumstances made it so so good to read. I definitely recommend this one.

This was maybe more of a 2.5 star book for me. It's sweet but just a lot of fluff, really. A nice romantic story with a social statement (set in Peru and centered around a doctor who has dedicated his time to helping orphans who would otherwise be on the streets).

This book was a good, hallmark-like novel. I think one of his Christmas books might be a hallmark movie!

The couple faces some extreme conditions getting into and back out of the jungles and rainforests of Peru. Both are trying to recover from pretty awful situations back home (in the USA), and they find what they need in each other and in acts of selflessness on this trip (not a vacation!).

Most of this book is predictable, but it’s okay to be comforted by the predictability sometimes. Just like a predictable Hallmark movie does!

Really good story about humanitarian trip to Peru.

A good read about rebuilding when you lose hope, there is always someone there for you at the perfect time. Very inspiring!!! Evans puts it all together. Paul In the wake of personal tragedy, two people meet on a humanitarian mission in Peru. Christine is a shy, unadventurous woman whose fiancee broke off the engagement only a week before the wedding, and Paul is a former emergency room doctor whose glamorous lifestyle, stellar reputation, and beautiful fiancee are cruelly snatched from him one fateful, snowy Christmas Eve. Deep in the Amazon jungle, against a backdrop of poverty and heartbreak, they must confront their deepest fears and, together, learn to trust and love again.
