I adore this book. I looooove the fake dating trope and adding in the dual perspectives just elevated it to a new level for me.
This is also my favorite kind of sequel. The distance from the timeline of the first meant that there was no overlap, but we still got to see Lina and Aaron. Their relationship with Rosie and Lucas was perfect from all angles - besties, cousins, and bros [slight spoilers] (especially seeing Aaron recognize a little of himself in how Lucas looked at Rosie!)

better than the spanish love devotion but the ending was too fast
This book was just OKAY. I didn’t feel any draw to any of the characters, and I found the writing very clunky in this book, as compared to Armas’ other books. I mean, who seriously injects someone’s name into conversation EVERY SINGLE LINE. At least I’ll never forget their names since they said it so often. Cute story, meh book.
This was sweet! I did not enjoy it as much as Spanish love deception, I think because the misunderstandings felt more contrived. But it’s been a rough week, and this was a a good pick-me-up.
