As much as I enjoyed the story between these two, it just took too long for them to get together, and it was hard to enjoy 7+ hours of listening to them fawn after each other after obvious immediate attraction. Their obliviousness drove me wild and made me want to smack them both upside the head for not getting their heads out of their asses and seeing sooner how the other really felt.

This is a hard one for me to rate, but I'm around a 3.5 again. I actually liked this book a bit better than her first one. I think the fact that the book had Lucas' point of view every so often gave a nice glimpse into how the other main character was feeling. There was a lot of push and pull when it came to feelings shared between characters but it created the suspense for the ending. Her writing could still use some refinement.
This was fine but not as good as the first one - which made me a tad sad.
I'd probably rate this 3.5. Quite cliche at times but an enjoyable read nonetheless

It was a cute book, I enjoyed it. A very easy read.
DNF…. Or really… I read the first three chapters and the last 3 chapters.. and that was enough- I literally missed nothing. Unoriginal. Uninteresting. Stale? Cheesy? I mean the review on the back calls it “frothy” and I guess I agree …? Frothy- yuck!
