‘Some days, I found excuses to touch her. I'd tell her she had something in her hair. Or that I'd thought there had been something clinging to her clothes. Sometimes, I reached for her and didn't come up with an excuse in time so I just smiled at her like a total idiot, and hoped for the best’

I am crying i loved this book so much! It was one of those cute romance books that make you just wanna giggle and blush like a school girl (well I did at-least)

I loved how much Lucas and Rose cared for each other so much it truly was so well written and ah it was just amazing ( I can’t put it into words)

I also loved the whole romance author thing. Since I wanna be one this romance had me really putting myself in the main characters shoes and just living my dream.

⭐️ 5/5 I recommend to people who want a cute romance

favorito da vida!!!

Cute story about two people who are really into each other, but go on ‘experimental’ dates to help her with writer’s block.

Rosie is staying at her friend, Lina’s, apartment, as her ceiling crashes down in hers, and Lina is on her honeymoon. And she needs the quiet time to work on her 2nd romance novel. What she did not know, is that Lina is letting her cousin, Lucas, stay at the apartment. And Lucas is too nice to make Rosie leave. He decides to help her muse by taking her on dates as an experiment. Of course, they’re both totally into each other. But he’s her best friend’s cousin, and he’s leaving in 6 weeks, so no attachments.

Sometimes Rosie was way too neurotic for me. She overthought everything, and that was why she had writer’s block as well. Lucas tried way too hard to spoil Rosie on their ‘dates’ to ever make me think he wasn’t interested. But it was very cute.

not it for me at all….. for like 75% of the book they’re like we can’t be together…. but not *really* for any good reason? That felt very much manufactured just to give us a slow burn/friends to lovers situation. But also after all this “we can’t bc of no reason” why did they almost fck while her poor traumatized brother was asleep in the same room?? Like girl THAT’S a good enough reason not to!!

Probably a 1.5 for me tbh. I turned the speed up on Libby to try and get through it as quickly as I could
