This series is like a zany British college sitcom and I love it. Every volume I read has been better than the one before, and I'm just hearts-with-eyes emojis over the whole thing. Quickly becoming an all-time favorite series.

One of the many fantastic things about Giant Days is that it does what almost everything else can’t, and that’s to seamlessly incorporate current slang and vernacular, in the proper contexts, without it coming across like old people trying to be Down With The Lingo. The writer must spend a lot of time on Twitter, or else really listens to the way the young people in his life talk.

This volume deals with the girls' second year at university and them going home for Christmas break. I enjoyed the fact that you get more of an insight into the backstory of the girls, especially Susan. Esther participates in a protest, and Daisy gets in arguments/has relationship drama. This dialogue is funny and the art is great. This is definitely a fun, entertaining series to read and I recommend it, for sure.

This one seemed darker than the others.

Great fun as always, but this one seemed a bit too over the place for me, no real connection between the different stories

This is by far my favourite volume out of the series yet! Mind you, I’m probably going to say this about every single volume in this series if it continues being this great. I just love these characters so much and they really bring me back to my college days and all the uncertainty you constantly feel. And I just love McGraw so DAMN MUCH, I was ecstatic to see more of him in this volume! I also really enjoyed the comedy in this one, it actually made me laugh out loud multiple times which is a rare thing for me when I’m reading!

ARGH, I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!

First of all, the art style. Max Sarin seems amazingly talented and he makes all the characters look absolutely adorable.

Second of all, I love Ingrid! Though she may be obnoxious and rude to the girls at times, I think she's hilarious. As Ed Gemell once said,

"Ingrid's like a human factory that makes rocket fuel."
I haven't read the rest of Giant Days, but Ingrid better be in the next few!!!

This was undoubtedly my favourite volume in the series so far. It seemed that Esther, Daisy and Susan's antics were even more entertaining than usual. I think I'm slightly addicted to this series, as I immediately long for the next one after I finish each volume!

I would recommend this series to anyone who wanted a fun, light hearted, highly entertaining graphic novel, as it seems impossible to me to not like Giant Days.
