I love this series! Realistic fiction college life that centers on 3 best friends? Yes and yes.

Collection's story lines:
*Over Christmas break, Susan goes home to her separated parents and older, selfish/exhausted/know-it-all collection of sisters
*Horrible roommate Dean finds love in an online game - a sexy steampunk ginger goddess no less!
*Esther realizes she's basically oblivious living under a rock, gets "woke" and into protesting, but can't seduce the attractive activist because she's not vegan and whatever other ethical requirements he has
*Somebody is up to something in their apartment's "lockup" (garage/shed thing? Who knows it's the UK)

I mean CMON, doesn't that just sound like delicious reading for a hot Saturday afternoon?

I love McGraw and Susan's changing relationship. I love Daisy figuring out how to love Ingrid and still be herself. I love Esther's skulls and drama and how she teases customers at the comic shop. Ed has great lines every other panel.

The drawings are so personal and emotive and active - you can feel their personalities radiate off the page, practically jumping and walking and drooping between panels by themselves.

In which:
We meet all six of Susan's sisters
An MMORPG wedding is disrupted
Esther becomes radicalized
Susan and McGraw may have gotten back together but Susan was too drunk to remember what happened?!
