Acceptable, but far from stellar. The dialogues are bad, there is too much of Warcraft lingo and too many prerequisites. The story barely stands on its own.

It's not an amazing comic book from the graphical stand-point. It's drawn manga style, and, unfortunately, in black and white. A bad choice for an overall under-mediocre comic.

a thorough explanation of how Azeroth came to be in the beginning, then falls apart one the graphic novel starts.

There's not much to say, but that the format of manhwa with it's typical drawing style does not fit in the World of Warcraft at all. I wouldn't recognize the characters without their names being mentioned and my mind just doesn't connect WoW and the artstyle in this. The story is not much to think about (except the rundown of Warcraft history at the beginning, which to people who played Warcraft III or have the general knowledge of the lore won't be anything new) and I read the whole book in 15 minutes. And it still didn't manage to hold my attention.

I'm probably going to run through the rest of the trilogy because I already borrowed them from the library, but otherwise I'll advise to skip this... If you are WoW fan, this won't give you anything new and if you are not, skip this because there's a plethora of other things you could be reading which are doing the general-fantasy-plot-line much better. The only reason for picking this up is if you're completionist, and even then, I would avert my eyes and pretend this doesn't exist.

The cherry on top for me is the fact that the character who is fully clothed the whole time in the story has to be portrayed in a flimsy skirt and bra on the cover... Do we really need to hammer down the idea of bikini-armor in RPGs or did the marketing saw the book is shit so they at least tried to lure some clammy hands by the suggestive 'waifu' on the cover? Food for thought...

Decent pace, nice art. Liked Kalec and Anveena. Hate Tyri.

Kind of a "meh" story. The art actually confused some of the action for me.

This was actually more interesting than I thought it would be. I hate that Anveena was so helpless, tho. My kids who like WoW should like it,

It was okay. Subplot to what happens in Lordaeron, and I'm intrigued to see how Raac is connected to the sunwell since I don't remember much of this from the games. Really loving the style the dragons are drawn in! (In their dragon forms, not the humanoid forms) quick read, but maybe the panels are a bit dense.

I'm not the type to read many comics, but this one was okay. It had all of the fantasy things you would expect in a book with a cover like that.
