Each of these stories is a clip of a story that is being worked on . They are spicy and dark. These stories from these different authors have needing the rest of the story as I’m hooked. These are action packed reads that are spicy and addictive.

I don't normally read anthologies, however I had to pick this as it had stories from 4 authors I love (P H Nix, Brooklyn Cross, T L Hodel & Celeste Night).

If you love stories with passion, crime, and danger then you need to read Violence and Virtues.

Each of the stories in this anthology will have you captivated and hungering for more.

I have found new authors I have never heard of before and can't wait to read more by them.

My favourite in the anthology was Reign of the King by the amazing P.H. Nyx with Vasyl Volkov as our MMC.  I also got to see a bit more of the boys from Edgewood Academy Elites.  I'm looking forward to seeing where this story leads.

STORIES
Queen's Gambit - Prequel to the series Kings of Wayward Academy by Brooklyn Cross

Voiceless Violet by Celeste Night

The Assassin Next Door by Krys Rayne

Reign of a King - Volkov Bratva Book 1 by P H Nix

Violent Vows - Prequel to The Notorious Five by Sophie Dyer

I have only gotten to read Sophie Dyer's contribution so far, but Oh. My. God!! It was fabulous! Her story, Violent Vows, is a prequel to The Notorious Five series that is not yet out. It's short, and I read it in one sitting. I couldn't stop. This was a violent, sad, emotional, hopeful story that ended in a cliffhanger. I will tell you that I will be bitting my nails until I get the rest of it in my greedy hands in a year 🤦‍♀️. I have no doubt that the rest of this anthology is just as good!

If you are a lover of Dark mafia stories then the Violence and Virtues Anthology is a must read.
One of the best stories in the book is Rein of a King by P.H. Nix.
We get reunited with our favorite Edgewood Academy heirs as they help King regain his throne from his uncle. There are family secrets, misunderstandings, and lots of violence. Be forewarned that there are triggers, so be sure to check out the trigger warnings before diving in.
If you love your mafia nice and Dark, then Violence and Virtues is the anthology for you.

An Intense Anthology

This steamy and dangerous anthology is filled with fantastic short stories by wonderful authors!

The stories in this anthology leave you wanting more and NEEDING to know what will happen next!

With some danger, spice, banter and an array of characters to love, this anthology is definitely worth the read!

I wanted it for Sophie Dyer’s tantalizing story and got so much more than I bargained for, with some great new to me authors’ backlogs to delve into!

I think I have just discovered my new trope love!!! This series of mafia stories will leave you hungry for more, so much more!! A group of wonderful authors have gotten together to produce this anthology of amazing stories, some a prequels, some as novellas but all will have you hunting down the author for more stories to feed the hunger that they have awakened.

Spicy, steamy, mafia, forbidden love, power play, and oh so much desire! You don’t want to miss this anthology!!

I love a bit of Mafia romance, generally the darker the better. These stories were definitely up my alley but some of them left me a little wanting. I really like an anthology and the way it introduces you to new authors in a handy dandy format. Sometimes though, the short stories can feel unfinished or rushed, often where they are prequels or teasers for longer stories due for later release.
I enjoyed the stories in this group, I thought the character pairings were good and I will definitely look up other works by some of the authors. Drama Day and Sophie Dyer particularly stood out for me but all of the authors did a great job in putting their works together for this book.
If you like reading new authors and getting a mix of writing styles this is definitely a good choice for you. I will say, I did get this advance release and there were a few spelling/grammar/continuity issues however, I'm sure these will have been resolved by the main release. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend.
