This is a beautiful text with glossy pages and colorful pictures. This book not only makes me want to eat raw foods, it makes me want to garden.

This text covers a lot of the usual raw foodist topics: the magical elixir nature of raw foods, tools of the raw kitchen, 100 things to do with a Vitamix blender, and various salads and dehydrated pancake-like things. That's a bit glib, but it is a really good book. They cover all the basics: making nut milks, making raw vegan nut 'cheese,' noodles, desserts, etc. It's really an excellent book for getting started in raw (un)cookery.

Even if you decide you don't want to eat anything in here (which is a mistake; it's really quite good stuff), you'll want to look at the pictures from time to time because it is, as I said before, a beautiful book.

Lots of good smoothie recipes. Explains health properties the ingredients. Some are only south African ingredients, as that is where the authors live.
