Wanted to love this and am clearly an outlier based on the other reviews but—I just couldn’t get into this book. The characters felt pretty one dimensional and I couldn’t find myself wanting to “root” for any of them. I felt like the author was trying to justify (but failed in doing so in my opinion) a lot of poor decisions made by the characters. The ending as well felt rushed and a little unrealistic based on what we know of the characters up until that point.
