I LOVED this book! It was interesting and creative. And you just fall in love with Julia's family, all three generations.

Beautiful story, cried so many times. Don't read unless you are ready to be broken open emotionally.
My one stupid gripe is that there were a couple of references to walking from Northwestern to Pilsen in Chicago, which even if you are talking about the downtown campus would take a really long time. It took me out of the narrative a little bit.
