Loved this book. As a fan of Old Delhi, this book is a brilliant ode to it. There are places I have visited which have been mentioned in the book and others, which I will visit after reading about them. If you are Delhite or have been to Old Delhi you will love the book. I am not sure about the rest of the junta.

A wonderful book, full of the sights and sounds of Delhi and its food that I love. The author is very brave in courting (and mainly luckily missing) Delhi belly. The food sounds yummy and makes me want to go back to Delhi soon.

A delicious, DELICIOUS book with recipes (my favourite kind of food memoir) about food columnist & Delhi explorer Pamela Timms' year in Old Delhi. I've even been trying out the recipes. Too thin with details, however, I'd like a little more... meat. (Pun not intended, the book is full of meat.)
