Unsatisfied in the length but great art
So a huge chunk of the 22 pages is just the comic illustration version on the end of ca:cw. It spend a few more minutes updating us on the whereabouts of the now defunct avengers team. If that's with$3.99 to you then bob's your uncle. I liked the at so I thought it was worth it but if you're looking for any new content there's really hardly any and it's very tantalizing.

I only read about half of this, as the second part is basically the first two (?) volumes of an Infinity War comic that has nothing to do with the movies. I am planning on reading those as a whole so I decided not to read them in this book...
So my rating is really just based on the first half of the book which I did really enjoy (but I really just wanted more!)

Ach was habe ich diesem Band entgegen gesehnt. Ich liebe die Zeichnungen und die Story. Man ist einfach sofort in der Geschichte gefangen.
Es beginnt in Sibirien, in einer Hydra Basis. Ach .. und Bucky. Iron Man...

A lot of fun. I’ve been hoping to find Marvel comics that expand the stories of the MCU movies. While a lot of it was recapping other films, the additional story elements were very fascinating. Cap, Falcon, and Black Widow in Syria intercepting Black market alien truck was great, and seeing Tony decide to make his Infinity War suit to try to save the world on his own was interesting to read.

Thought this one would help me understand the MCU Avengers Infinity War, but this one is much more tied to the comic book storyline instead. Nice bonus to see a little more Black Bolt and the Illuminati.
Technically I read this in singles on Marvel Unlimited, but whatever. So I guess Marvel’s taking a Dark Days: The Road to Metal approach with these now. Great. This book collects Avengers: Infinity War Prelude #1-2, Infinity #1, and Thanos Annual #1.
The actual Infinity War preludes (or, more accurately, tie-ins) aren’t really anything to get excited about. I don’t even remember what happened in the first one, and the second just felt like a wiki page in comic format.
Infinity is really good, but it isn’t related to anything revolving around Infinity War besides Thanos.
Thanos Annual is...ummm...okay...?
So don’t buy it unless you’re against actually cohesive comics.

The only thing that bugs me about Marvel is all of the different mediums you have to have access to in order to understand what's going on. 😡

This was not 136 pages of prelude like I thought. This was 30ish pages of prelude and then about a hundred pages of other comics that I’ve never read so that was very disappointing.
I would have liked to have seen more about what everyone got up to in the two years between Civil War and Infinity War.
The prelude itself was good as I liked to see the parts of Civil War that happened off camera and the art style is one of my favourites so far from the comics.
So overall, I ideally wanted less comic I’ve never heard of and more prelude.

I enjoyed this book because I could channel everyone's voices in my head as I went along. I also liked the insight it provided for what eventually happens with Thanos.
